Another project we’ve kicked off this year is the wildlife haven at our head offices. Over a three-day weekend of long and hard work, we’ve taken a piece of unused land and a beautiful area of woodland, and started creating a sanctuary for plants, wildlife and employees. We’ve been clearing brambles, digging a pond, developing paths, building a bridge and even creating composting bins to support the waste reduction initiatives we have in our offices. In spring, we’ll be sowing, planting, nurturing and tending to wildflower meadows, a mini orchard, a natural pond, and a sun-drenched woodland clearing peppered with butterflies, birds, bees and dragonflies.
