CARBON OFFSETTING OUR KEY CARBON EMISSIONS - 2019 We measure our carbon footprint in tonnes of carbon dioxide (tCO2e) emitted into the atmosphere as a result of our business products and activities. WASTE All waste streams mapped Plastic cups completely removed from head office Plastic tape replaced by paper tape in our warehouses All non- specialised waste is zero to landfill Packaging materials re-used in warehouse. Others segregated correctly for recycling We are just starting out on our waste reduction journey. We have ensured that all our waste carriers are registered with the Environmental Agency and we are now identifying where our waste actually ends up. We will then favour waste carriers with high reuse and recycling rates, whilst attacking the level of waste that we produce. OUR TARGETS Our total carbon footprint for 2019 was 4310 tonnes This is the baseline from which we will measure our success in reducing our carbon emissions. It equates to 340g of CO 2 for each of our 12.7 million products, and currently offset 1.42 tonnes of it via the waste packaging recovery scheme.
